Dynamic Designs focuses on intelligent and organized PCB design services for today's high-end PCB layouts and electrical systems. With increasing complexities from HDI designs, signal and power integrity analysis, and fabrication methods, I am here to help simplify the design process. PCB Layout

Flex, Rigid-flex, Blind/buried, HDI, ELIC, DDR and more

With my PCB layout service you get a designer who doesn't simply connect the dots, but instead fully understands the "Why" behind the design. My main focus is ensuring quality layouts with electrical functionality in mind. From advanced medical, aerospace, consumer goods, laboratory test and wireless mobile devices, each have their own unique demands that should be accounted and designed for. As an Electrical Engineer, I can also offer insight into what the important aspects of your project are and develop plans to negate potential issues.

Schematic Capture

Hierarchical, repeated circuit, directive based constraints

From modifying existing schematics to creating schematics from the ground up, I can assist with your schematic needs. My focus is on clear documentation to ensure that the next Engineer is able to easily follow the electrical intent and requirements of the design. My tool of choice is Altium Designer followed up with Orcad; other tools may be used on a case by case basis.  
 

Library Creation

Symbols and footprints

Incorrect symbols and footprints are a common mistake that plague many projects; adding extra cost and time to correct them. I can create or check any part that I can get a data sheet or a physical sample of, and build them to either IPC, Manufacture, or custom assembly house specification. The choice is yours. 

Design Review

High-speed, Manufacturing, assembly

Have a design laid out and want a second pair of eyes to check it? Or, already built a set of boards that are having issues? For modern circuit boards, having an experienced engineer review for common pitfalls can reduce costly revisions and ease fabrication complications. All reviews will be accompanied by a written report and conference call to go over points of interest. Solutions can be implemented by myself or handled internally by your engineers as well. 

 

Manufacturing Consultation

High-density, Prototype, High volume, floor planning

Cutting edge designs have unique and specific manufacturing goals such as RF performance, high-density layout, laboratory testing requirements, or cost cutting for high volume production. The type of fabrication technology and materials can make all the difference when results matter. I can offer expert advice and guidance to develop a rock-solid plan of attack for even the trickiest of designs.  

Engineering Support

Your on-demand engineer

With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, I can also assist with hardware, circuit design and analysis. I have provided past support on projects involving flex connector boards, interposers, breakout shields, power supplies, reference design modifications, and updating existing designs. Consider me your mid-level engineer to add to your team as needed to free up internal resources.
